With this four-day festival of lectures, presentations and three performances, KVS and EUROPALIA offer a taste of Spanish arts, with artistic surprises away from the big cities like Madrid and Barcelona. All seventeen autonomous regions boast their own inventive arts centres and artists, all deeply engaged with their own local environments. These include the arts centre built from containers in the port of Algeciras, a dance festival in the rural villages of Castilla-La Mancha, and a festival in Navarra, born of the wisdom and philosophy of the forests.
