Bach

  • STUK, Louvain

Bach is a study of movement, looking, rhythm, breath and presence in relation to musicality. With concentrated attempts to ‘catch’ the music, swirling in the arms of an invisible partner or bursting into a sudden syncopated run, Catalan dancer-choreographer María Muñoz (Mal Pelo) embraces Glenn Gould’s recording of Johann Sebastian Bach’s Das Wohltemperierte Klavier. Bach is the best-known work of this Catalan choreographer, who has been dancing this solo since 2004.
