Francisco López

Francisco López is one of the most important figures in the field of experimental music and sound art. With more than forty years of sound creation and environmental recording, he has developed an impressive sonic universe. In Dark Sonic Goya (Bozar) he presents immersive sound experiences inspired by the work of Goya, specifically his ‘dark’ works that emerged when the painter became completely deaf.
At STUK in Leuven, López presents one of his widely acclaimed immersive sound performances: an intense listening experience for an audience in complete darkness, surrounded by a multichannel sound system.
