Elsa Paricio placed glass cylinders filled with ink and water in the sun at five hundred locations in Spain. She then observed the daily trace left by evaporation over six years, under the influence of the weather. These data were subsequently inventoried and displayed on shelves as archaeological objects. The result is a unique archive that records time and questions conventional notions of recording and memory, a library of landscapes of a particular territory, inviting the viewer for a new journey through bygone times and landscapes.
