Alberto Cortés, one of the most idiosyncratic voices in today’s theatre landscape, immerses the viewer in the vulnerability of love in this musical declaration of queer love. In this work, beauty emerges from utter fragility and unexpected strength grows from desperate, politically incorrect and boundless love. This statement is played out in a golden bar, a venue suspended between dream and reality. In this raw, uncompromising work, tenderness and vulnerability go hand in hand with a fierce, iconoclastic view on politics.
